end of life pet photography with tampa bay's top pet photographer

Lilla Bordas, Tampa-based Pet Photographer-pet photography sessions in your home

For pet parents who believe cats are family and want to have beautiful images of their fur babies. Where to start? Think about how you would like your images to look and what you would like to do with the images.

The day will come when you will be facing a very hard time – having to say goodbye to your best friend… The end of life session is specifically designed for that difficult time with you and your beloved pet as a celebration of his life. My goal is to capture moments of affection, joy as well as sorrow and loss so you have these memories forever.

I let you and your senior pet lead the way, capturing the connection between you, taking as many breaks as needed.

To make this experience as easy for you as possible, these sessions come with a priority booking and can take place in studio, at your home or wherever your pet feels most at ease.

It's better to schedule your session a day too early than a day too late.....

If you have a senior dog or cat, I encourage you to book a session while they're feeling well, happy and as healthy as possible so we can capture them as you want to remember them.

Please know, that it's never too late to reach out to me. I prioritize these sessions and always do my very best to make them happen. Even if it's tomorrow. Because I would want the same for myself....

"Our sweet Bella wasn’t just a dog; she was family. As her time with us grew short, we wanted to honor her in a way that captured her spirit forever. The photos are more than just images; they’re memories we’ll hold close to our hearts forever. Thank you for giving us this gift."

What To Expect During Your Pet's End-of-Life Portrait Session

It’s whatever you want it to be. It can be at your home, inside or out, or at a local park that your pet loved to frequent in their younger days. I will bring my studio equipment to your home if your fur baby is feeling well enough to pose.

Yes, you, other family members and your other pets are very much welcome to capture precious memories with your sick/senior pet.

🌈 Priority booking- I always have availability within the next couple of days for an EOL session or will do my very best to rearrange my schedule to accommodate

🌈 All family members are welcome

🌈During our consultation we'll discuss any limitations your fur baby might have, their comfort is my top priority!

🌈We'll ensure we get those meaningful detail shots, like kissing your fur baby or holding their paws in your hand and anything else you like

🌈No time limit- I only take one client a day to ensure we get everything you want and take breaks as needed. I understand how important this session is.

🌈Fur reconstruction in Photoshop- if your fur baby had their fur shaved for medical treatment, I'll do my best to fill out those areas in Photoshop

By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,
Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.
Where the friends of man and woman do run,
When their time on earth is over and done.

For here, between this world and the next,
Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.
On this golden land, they wait and they play,
Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.

No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,
For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.
Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,
Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.

They romp through the grass, without even a care,
Until one day they start, and sniff at the air.
All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back,
Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.

For just at that instant, their eyes have met;
Together again, both person and pet.
So they run to each other, these friends from long past,
The time of their parting is over at last.

The sadness they felt while they were apart,
Has turned into joy once more in each heart.
They embrace with a love that will last forever,
And then, side-by-side, they cross over… together.
