When is a good time to get my puppy or kitten photographed?
The best time to get your puppy or kitten photographed is as soon as they come home! Those early weeks are filled with sweet, fleeting moments that are worth capturing. Around 8-12 weeks is an ideal time for their first photoshoot, as they’re still in that adorable, tiny stage but starting to show their personality.
As they grow, milestone photos at 4, 6, and 12 months will document their transformation from a playful baby into a full-grown pet. Each stage is unique, so having these moments professionally captured will give you memories to treasure for years.
I specialize in both portrait and pet photography, meaning I know how to bring out your best angles and create flattering images of you and your pets. I have plenty of tricks to capture those adorable head tilts and expressions from your pup, even if they’re high-energy!
If you have multiple dogs or young, energetic children, don’t worry—I’ll grab multiple shots in the same pose and combine them to create the perfect family photo for that show-stopping feature wall art you’ve been dreaming of.
For puppies/kittens that are not fully vaccinated yet, I recommend an in- home photography session. This can be a studio- style shoot- I bring my studio equipment to your home. All backdrops and props are washed after use. If a studio session is not your vibe, we can also do an in-home lifestyle session or we can use your own backyard if you wish.

This series of sessions is perfect to capture the first year of your new bestie's life. They change so quickly, you blink once and you missed those precious baby moments forever. These memories will be priceless when you're looking back at them, just like your human babies' newborn pictures.
The sessions typically take place at the following ages:
1. At 2-4 months old
2. 6-8 months old
3.12-18 months old
At the end of the third session you'll receive a beautiful framed wall portrait with one image from each session. (other images are available for purchase of course)
