specializing in boudoir, portraits, pet photography and headshots and branding.
Okay, let’s pretend the session you booked months ago is finally right around the corner! The anticipation is building, and you’re so excited to see the magic unfold. You’ve already chosen your outfits, but what exactly should you bring on the big day? No worries—we’re here to make sure you’re fully prepared, so you can relax and enjoy every moment of your boudoir session.
At [Studio Name], we want you to feel pampered and confident during your shoot. To maximize your Boudoir Session experience, we ask every client to bring a few essentials. This will ensure everything goes smoothly, from start to finish, so you can focus on feeling like the goddess you are.
Before anything else, it’s important to bring a seamless black thong and a seamless nude thong. These are required if you wish to borrow anything from our studio wardrobe. Why the seamless design? It keeps things clean, smooth, and invisible under most outfits. Plus, these thongs will allow you to wear anything comfortably without the worry of visible lines, ensuring your focus stays on feeling fabulous during your session.
A crucial part of your boudoir session is the outfits you choose. You want a variety of looks to capture different sides of your personality—playful, seductive, sensual, or elegant. We suggest bringing 4-5 fun outfits to your session. These can be lingerie sets, robes, or other pieces that make you feel confident and sexy.
During your planning session with us, we’ll dive into the details of what outfits will best highlight your body, your style, and the vision for your photoshoot. We’ll help guide you on fabric, fit, and colors, ensuring you feel your best in every shot.
Do you have any special items you’d like to incorporate into your shoot? Maybe a cherished piece of jewelry, a sexy little black dress, or a meaningful keepsake? While we love the idea of using personal items to make your shoot even more unique, we do recommend always asking first. Some props, depending on size, shape, or material, may not photograph as well as others. But don’t worry—we’ll let you know what works and what doesn’t, and we’re always open to creative ideas!
Thigh-high stockings or fishnets can really amp up the sexiness of your boudoir session, and they’re perfect for showing off those legs! However, we don’t carry these in our studio wardrobe, so please bring your own if you’d like to wear them. Make sure they fit well and are in great condition to add a flawless touch to your look.
Jewelry is a beautiful way to add personality to your boudoir session, whether it’s rings, earrings, or even bracelets. If you have special pieces that hold meaning to you or simply make you feel extra glamorous, be sure to bring them along. While we do carry a selection of necklaces and pearls in the studio, we love when clients bring their own jewelry to personalize their session even more.
A great pair of heels can elevate your look, boost your confidence, and give your photos that extra wow factor. If you have a favorite pair that you feel amazing in, be sure to bring them! We do carry at least one pair per size (6-11), but if you have something special in mind—whether it’s stilettos, boots, or any other style—bring them along for the shoot. They’ll add an extra element of elegance and confidence to your poses.
Shooting boudoir can take a little time, and staying hydrated is essential for keeping your energy up and your skin looking fresh. While we’ll have water available at the studio, it’s a great idea to bring your own drink of choice if you need something to keep you refreshed throughout the day. Feeling hydrated helps you feel your best and ensures you have a glowing, radiant look in every shot.
Long sessions can leave you feeling a bit hungry, so feel free to bring lunch or any snacks you’d like. We provide snacks, but if you have something specific in mind or want a more substantial meal, don’t hesitate to bring it along. There’s also a great cafe in the building, so if you need a quick pick-me-up, you can grab a bite during a break in your shoot.
When the shoot is over, it’s time to relax and head out. We recommend bringing a change of clothes for after your session, so you feel comfortable when you leave. Of course, if you want to leave in the same outfit or even in your comfy pajamas, that’s perfectly fine too! We want you to feel at ease from start to finish, whether you change or keep your boudoir look on.
Most importantly, bring your confidence and positive energy. We’re here to guide you every step of the way, from outfit selection to posing to helping you feel your absolute best in front of the camera. The more confident and relaxed you are, the more stunning your photos will turn out. Embrace the experience, trust the process, and most importantly, have fun!
