LOOKING FOR RARE BREED DOGS AND CATS TO PHOTOGRAPH IN THE TAMPA BAY AREA

 I'm on a mission to photograph and showcase unique looking or rare breed dogs and cats.

We all know that Labradors, Doodles and Frenchies are awesome dogs and popular for a reason, but I would love to get some rarer breeds in front of my camera to mix it up. Let's bring awareness to the less well-known breeds, their unique characteristics and personalities!

DOES MY PET NEED TO BE FULL BREED?

Nope, mixed breed is fine, as long as they look like their breed or have a unique look. Please make sure you upload a photo in your application

DOES MY PET NEED TO BE TRAINED?

Not at all, your pets don't have to be trained! I work with pets with all levels of training, or with no training at all most of the time. We photograph your dogs on leash and I edit the leash out later in Photoshop. I have all kinds of tricks to get your pets attention, noise makers, treats etc

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN A RARE BREED SESSION

🐾 Complimentary 1 hr photography session either at an outdoor location or I set up my studio in your home in the Tampa Bay Area

🐾 Additional pets AND their people from the same household are welcome to join

🐾 A pre-session consultation over zoom, so we can plan the experience

🐾 One image of your choice of your rare breed pet from the session as a digital download

🐾 10% discount towards any image purchase

🐾  Your pet featured on our website, social media and a blog post all about your precious baby

🐾 10% of your image purchase will be donated to either of these 2 local pet non-profit organizations: Pizza for Pets or A Kitten Place. You may specify which cause you wish to support

 

*a signed model release for the images will be necessary

**a $150 refundable session retainer will be charged upon booking to hold your spot, which will be either refunded upon completing the session or can be applied towards artwork purchase from your session

THE PROCESS

STEP 1

Application Submit your rare breed pet's application

STEP 2

Phone consultation We'll contact you to talk about all the details and answer any questions you might have about the session

STEP 3

Booking your pet's session If we are a good fit to work together, we'll select your session date and get your session retainer fee ($150) to hold your session date/

STEP 4

Shoot time! The fun part- we're going to spend about an hour photographing your pet and any additional members of the family who'd like to participate

STEP 5

In person image viewing and ordering This is when you get to see the images from your session, you get to select your freebie download and you will have the opportunity to purchase more images and custom artwork.

CAN I BE PHOTOGRAPHED WITH MY PET?

Absolutely! You, your family and your other pets are more than welcome to participate at no additional cost! I'm one of the very few photographers who double specialize in people and pets. Why this is important? Because people photographers usually don't know how to get your dog to cooperate or look at the camera (I have my tricks for this!) and pet photographers have no idea how to make humans look great and pose them in a flattering way. I promise, I will make the entire family and the fur kids look amazing!

* the complimentary digital image has to be of your rare breed pet only, since that's the main focus of this project.
