For some reason, I always had a special connection to twins (and multiples in general). I remember saying to my grandma at 5 that I wanted Quintuplets! Thank Goodness, I didn't get that wish fulfilled!!! I gave up that idea pretty fast as I was growing up,, haha. But still, during my school years, I remained fascinated with twins. I pretended to be "twins" with a boy in my elementary class who had the same birthday as me. I was lucky enough to make friends with twin girls later on. My husband is a twin..... I always thought it would be so cool to have twin babies when I get pregnant. Then we had trouble conceiving and ended up going for fertility treatments. Looking back, I'm pretty sure this way the Universe's way to give me what I've been asking for so long. ?(or maybe not- I'm open to discussion about this during your session lol) I was joking about maybe getting a BOGO deal and much to my delight that first ultrasound did confirm TWINS!!!! 

For a few happy months I had no idea what was in store for me, first spending a month on strict bedrest in the hospital, then having tiny preemies born at 30 weeks, spending 2 months at NICU. The countless sleepless nights, feeding around the clock, needing 2 of everything....

Oh, but it was still so worth it!!! Watching those 2 adorable human beings growing up, sharing that extra special bond. It IS worth it! Even though I have boy/girl twins, they still are best friends since day one and still at 17. I'm so lucky, because they NEVER fight (they do fight with Little Sis, in case you thought they were just Angels), they always have each others back and I'm sure they always will. Poor Little Sis often feels left out, because the TWINS get along so well.
